Bears claw Devils 5-2.
Hershey increases winning streak to four dethroning the Devils 5-2.
On Nov. 4 after a clean slated first period, the Lowell Devils jumped on board first when #25 Nick Palmieri scored with 15:17 on the clock in the second period to make it 1-0. The goal was his second of the season as it past Bears goaltender #30 Michal Neuvirth.
Shortly thereafter, #11 Keith Aucoin made noise for Hershey as his pass caromed off a defensive man that rolled by goaltender #31 Jeff Frazee at 14:11 to knot the score up at one before #36 Oskar Osala tipped in a shot from #18 Kyle Wilson.
In the third period, the Bears clawed away at the Devils as Aucoin relayed a turnover for his second goal of the night in just 34 seconds into the final round.
#10 Dean McAmmond pulled the home team Devils within one scoring his fist goal of the season with 4:06 on the clock. Moments later, #2 Patrick McNeil scored his first goal for the Bears increasing the lead to two. Aucoin finished the game tallying a three-goal night scoring his hat trick goal with 3:37 left in regulation.
On the night, Devils goaltender #31 Jeff Frazee suffered the loss saving 25 of 30 shots as Bears goaltender #30 Michal Neuvirth saved 24 of 26 picking up Hershey’s fourth consecutive win.
The next Lowell Devils game is slated for a visit to New York on Friday, Nov. 6 against the Albany River Rats. Going into the game, the Devils are 5-5-2-0 and the River Rats are 5-6-0-1.
