According to albanyriverrats.com, the ‘Rats dropped their last game 2-0 to the Binghamton Senators.
Senators center #16 Cody Bass netted the first goal of the night with the clock slated at 5:37 in the second period. His goal came when he fired in a shot pass ‘Rats goaltender #35 Justin Peters.
#39 Martin St. Pierre added in Binghamton’s second and final goal of the night with 55.8 seconds left in the third period.
In the game for Albany, the ‘Rats did everything they could adding pressure late into the match up and had their best opportunity come from #9 Drayson Bowman on a rebound as his shot snipped off the post as Senators goaltender #29 Mike Brodeur saved everything that came his way.
Senators goaltender Brodeur saved 25 shots as ‘Rats goaltender Peters allowed one goal on 21 shots.
Coming into Friday nights contest against the Devils, Albany is 5-6-0-1.
Lowell Devils at Albany River Rats is at 7:00 p.m. on Nov. 6 at the Times Union Center.
